Simplicity

If you ask me who is the style icon for me I will always say Audrey Hepburn.
This is absolutely amazing how she achieved something I would call effortless elegance.
Of course one of her main attributes was her beauty, but she also had this incredible gift of looking chic in every single piece of clothes she was wearing.
And the clothes she was wearing were not always dresses designed by Hubert de Givenchy.
I think the secret is simplicity.
And - again: less is more, isn't it?

And below you can find example how I re-created Audrey Hepburn's style based on the clothes from popular network shops we know very well. This is absolutely doable and you won't spend a fortune.
(the only investment will be cashmere sweaters, but this will pay off).

    1. I'm so glad you like my picks :) I just wanted to check if we could create something similar to Audrey style based on what we had in shops at the moment. We can and at really reasonable price.

  9. You can't go wrong with monochrome, its so simple and chic. I've heard a lot about Audrey Hepburn but I'm not familiar with her style. Based on the pictures I'd say she's a minimalist and she keep things classy.

    1. She definitely keeps things classy and simple and I think these are the main features of her style. What is amazing I have never seen any picture she looked ordinary although wearing 'ordinary clothes'.
